The U.S. House of Representatives voted 244 to 187 to repeal Country of Origin Labeling. Ranchers-Cattlemen Action Legal Fund CEO, Bill Bullard says he and other COOL supporters will turn their attention to working with the Senate.
Bullard says if they can’t get the Senate to keep COOL in place, they will try to get the President to veto the measure.
Bullard says the vote for repeal was too early. He supports a chance to defend COOL. Canada and Mexico have claimed the labeling law would cause billions of dollars in damages.
