After several hours of a closed-door meeting, the Special Investigative Committee of the South Dakota House agreed on their next actions.

House Speaker Spencer Gosch of Glenham announced their first action….

Gosch also announced more subpoenas….

Members of the committee said last week they had received robocalls pushing them to impeach the Attorney General. Those calls were traced to an Ohio company, but no one has claimed knowledge of who paid for the calls.

The committee is deciding whether Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg should be impeached for his conduct following the crash that killed Joe Boever west of Highmore in September of 2020.
