Iowa Congressional members Cindy Axne and Randy Feenstra, both members of the House Agriculture Committee, have co-sponsored a companion bill, like the Grassley and Fischer bill in the Senate, that looks at price discovery of cattle marketing.  The House Agriculture Committee has scheduled a hearing for next week.  4th District Congressman Randy Feenstra says he has visited with several cattle producers to know this bill is needed.

Feenstra shares the questions he wants to ask meat packing company executives.

Officials believe the bill may pass the Senate, but its fate in the House is uncertain, especially since House Agriculture Committee Ranking member, Glenn Thompson has said he opposes the bill.
