Hot weather this week has included several nights of overnight lows of upper 70s into the low 80s. That could cause some corn crop issues.
Dennis Todey, Director of the USDA Midwest Climate Hub, says those plants are pumping out much of the moisture that leads to high dew points and warm night time temperatures….
Todey says it looks like temperatures should cool down by early next week…..
Todey says recent rains are helping crops through the heat stress…..
