Hoping for Trickle Down to Counties and Townships

The infrastructure bill passed by the Senate and now up for debate in the US House could funnel hundreds of millions of federal dollars to the state for roads and bridges.

Representative Caleb Finck of Tripp, says he would like to see some of that trickle down to the county and township level..

Finck, Chairman of the House Transportation Committee, says local governments are taking inventories of the bridges and culverts they have that need repair or replacement…

Finck says they want to use that information to set funding priorities…

The House is working through debate rules before bringing the one point two trillion-dollar infrastructure bill up for a vote.
