The South Dakota Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals held its annual “Celebration of National Philanthropy Awards” meeting in Yankton Tuesday.

Larry and Diane Ness of Yankton were recognized with the groups “Outstanding Philanthropists Award.”

The Yankton community was also recognized and received the “Outstanding Philanthropic Community Award.” Ness says that is well deserved…

The City of Yankton was nominated by the South Dakota Community Foundation for local projects including the Boys & Girls Club and the Huether Family Aquatics Center.
