Helping Nebraskans With Health Care Issues

The chancellor of the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the University of Nebraska-Omaha is touring the state, talking to Nebraskans. Jeffrey Gold says the conversations help him to determine how the university system can best assist the state’s residents.

Gold says the needs are different from town to town.

Gold says one focus is on getting rural students to pursue key health care professions with the goal of seeing them head back to those rural areas to work upon graduation.
