Like a lot of industries, the trucking and transportation sector is thinking about its future work force. Minnesota Trucking Association President John Hausladen says the average age of a commercial truck driver in the U.S. is 55 and between now and 2020 Minnesota alone is expected to have over 23-thousand commercial driving job openings:
