Heavy rains overnight are causing issues for Yankton County Roads.
County Emergency Manager Paul Scherschligt says the problems began early this morning…..

Scherschligt says there could be some washed out culverts…

Scherschligt says most of the northern half of the county got heavy rain…

Radar estimates that three to five inches of rain may have fallen over that area.

Yankton County Highway department is currently reporting water over roads on the with following:
448th Ave – south of 292nd,
430th & 304th South ½ mile
and 294th south of 81. Roads will remain closed until water recedes and they check for safety.
