Heavy Rain Pushing Rivers Back Up Again

Heavy rain this week is pushing rivers in eastern South Dakota to even higher flood stages.

The river at Scotland is predicted to jump over five feet by Tuesday.
Gillispie says the Big Sioux River will also go back to major flood stage…

The Vermillion River in Clay County is also projected to rise about eighteen feet by Wednesday. Much of south east South Dakota got two to seven inches of rain over the past few days.
