Heat Assistance Checks to SD Residents

Residents in South Dakota who have been accepted into the Low Income Heat Assistance Program, or LiHEAP, will see the first checks this month. The program continues into March of next year.

The program, which is federally funded, got about seventeen million dollars last year.
