Hollingsworth says the state is following the example of Avera Health, Rapid City Regional, and Sanford Health facilities, which required the vaccination of their employees last year.  She says it’s a matter of improving public health…

 

Employees with medical problems related to the flu vaccine or religious doctrines that prohibit their vaccination are exempt.  All state employees can get free vaccinations under the state’s health plan.
