Healthcare Open Enrollment Resumes

Open enrollment began the middle of last month for insurance under the Affordable Care Act. It lasts until the middle of February.
But, if you want coverage by January 1st, you need to find a policy by December 15th.
Matthew Leonard with Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Nebraska says the federal health insurance law caused quite a bit of confusion last year. . .


You can enroll through Healthcare.gov…or directly through an insurance company you prefer.
Leonard advises asking a lot of questions to get the health coverage you want. . .
