While day to day numbers go up and down, the overall trend for COVID-19 infections in South Dakota has been going up over the past few weeks.

State Epidemiologist Dr Josh Clayton says they are watching carefully..

The state now has over eleven hundred active cases. So far, one hundred fifty-four people have died due to coronavirus.
