The Heroes Trophy is on the line again as Iowa plays host to Nebraska Friday in a Big Ten Conference football matchup.

Both teams are coming off close losses to schools battling for a Big Ten title. Iowa fell 26-24 to Wisconsin while dropping to 7-4(4-3 in the Big Ten). Nebraska lost to Minnesota 28-24 while slipping to 8-3(4-3).

Nebraska holds a 28-13-3 edge in the series which was first contested in 1891.
