The Big Ten men’s basketball tournament gets underway at Madison Square Garden in New York Wednesday night with Iowa and Minnesota involved in the two play-in games.

The Hawkeyes, the #12 seed, will face #13 Illinois in the opener of the doubleheader tonight.

Minnesota, as the #11 seed will take on #14 Rutgers in the nightcap.

Nebraska is a #4 seed and gets a double bye into the quarterfinals on Friday.
