Iowa and Iowa State didn’t finish the regular season strong, but both get a chance to regain their early season form as part of the NCAA basketball tournament field.

The Hawkeyes, who were considered a candidate for a one seed during the season, slipped to a #7 seed. Iowa(21-10) will take on Temple(21-11) on Thursday in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Iowa State(21-11) plays Thursday in Denver against Iona(22-10)
