The Hastings College Broncos picked up a 2-0 win over the Briar Cliff Chargers in the championship game of the 2019 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Postseason Men’s Soccer Tournament Thursday.
Hastings, as winner of the GPAC Tournament, will advance as the league’s second automatic representative to the NAIA National Men’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round (on November 22-23).
Regular season champion Morningside receives the other NAIA berth to the postseason.
Sixteen teams will advance to the NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championship Final Site in Irvine, California, December 2 – December 7.
