Hastings Claims GPAC Crown

The 2018 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Postseason Women’s Soccer Tournament Championship Match was played on Thursday night in Hastings, Nebraska, with the home team defeating Concordia.

With 4:34 left in the second overtime period the Broncos found the net for the only goal as Courtney Doeschot scored the game winner.

Hastings is now 16-0-3 on the season and will advance, as the league’s automatic representative, to the NAIA National Women’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round (on Saturday, November 17).

With the Broncos winning the regular season championship the regular season runner-up, Midland, will receive the league’s second NAIA automatic berth to the postseason.
