The 2017 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Postseason Men’s Soccer Tournament is complete with top seeded Hastings picking up a 2-1 win over third seeded Concordia on Thursday night at Hastings.

The Bulldogs jumped out to the early lead scoring just five minutes into the opening frame on a goal by Carlos Ferrer. The Broncos tied the game up on with 9:24 left in the first frame on a goal by Brayant Toro. What proved to be the game winner for Hastings came off the foot of Lucas Venegas with 1:36 left in the first half. Neither time found the back of the net in the second half.

Hastings, as winner of the GPAC Postseason Tournament will advance, as the league’s automatic representative, to the NAIA National Men’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round (on Saturday, November 18).
