Saturday morning a hail and wind storm swept through Bon Homme County South Dakota entering on the northwest side. County Farm Service Agency Program Technician Josh Pesek says hail between marble to golf ball size dropped followed by 40 plus to 60 plus mile per hour winds.
Pesek says both corn and soybeans were hit by the hail.
Pesek advises farmers to check with their crop insurance agent and report any damage as soon as possible. He also says to make sure and file a report with their local FSA office.
