Gun Owners Taking More Responsibility for Their Safety

Those for and against the 2nd Amendment are speaking out after last month’s massacre at a South Carolina church. There are about a dozen states, including Nebraska where guns are not allowed inside. Edwin Walker is an attorney and a gun law expert and says unfortunately churches are considered “soft targets” for those wanting to commit crimes.

He says more individuals are taking responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.

This issue has raised a lot of debate in recent weeks as opponents continue to push for tighter gun control laws.

Nebraska’s current law states that even those with conceal carry permits are not allowed to carry a gun into a church.
