Republican candidate for Nebraska Governor Charles Herbster was at the Sandhills Ranch Expo in Bassett yesterday accompanied by campaign staff member Corey Lewandowski. Herbster says as governor his agenda for agriculture will focus on areas like trade and property tax relief.
Staffer Corey Lewandowski says as a farmer and businessman Herbster offers a unique perspective to the governor’s role.
He also talked about the importance of an infrastructure package to rural America but is predicting a bi-partisan compromise won’t be reached.
Lewandowski and Herbster say much of Biden Administration’s agenda is not ag friendly including climate change and energy policy, plus immigration.
