Growth Energy has released a new report that examines the potential impact of a growing role for U.S. biofuels in America’s clean energy future. Growth Energy Vice President of Regulatory Affairs Chris Bliley says increased ag production under the RFS has no detrimental effects on land or water.
He says because precision agriculture and technology developments have gotten better, the effect on land, air and water has also improved.
Bliley says their report will be helpful for the Environmental Protection Agency as they work on the RFS reset and move forward with various biofuel issues.
Growth Energy’s report was authored by Ramboll, a global research and management firm specializing in sustainable development.
