A group of both Senate and House members have written to the Environmental Protection Agency backing higher 2018 RFS obligations for cellulosic and advanced biofuels. Growth Energy’s Vice President of Government Affairs Chris Bliley is encouraged by the support coming from both rural and urban lawmakers.

He thinks having the Congressmen weigh in should help influence the agency to go forward with more robust volume levels.

Bliley says getting the increased renewable volume levels is critical in helping get out more renewable fuels to consumers who want access to them.

Bliley expects the EPA to come out with the RFS RVos for 2018 sometime next week.
