Growth Continues For River Park

The National Park Service has expanded the land area of the Missouri National Recreational River with the recent addition of Green Island, just south of the City of Yankton.

The Superintendent of the park, Rick Clark, joined the staff in January of this year. He says they continue to expand their mission…

 

The river was also designated a National Water Trail last fall by the Interior Department. Clark says that will bring more people to the region…

 

Clark says the river park should see continue growth over the next few years…
