The Iowa Republican Party’s 2002 nominee for governor remains part of the “never Trump” movement. Doug Gross, a Des Moines attorney, says he can’t fathom voting for Donald Trump.

 

Gross is a “never Clinton” person as well.

 

Gross says the Republican Party has “held together” since the Reagan years as a loose coalition of Christian conservatives, the business community and working class Americans.

Gross predicts 2016 General Election will be a “car wreck” for the Republican Party.
