The Associated Press preseason football poll finds everyone chasing Alabama again while Iowa rates top twenty support.

Alabama garnered 33 first place votes to lead seven teams getting votes for the top spot.

Iowa, which finished in the top ten of last year’s poll, is rated at #17 to start this season.

Nebraska received votes while not making the top 25.

The first opponent for South Dakota State this season is TCU which is number 13 in the initial FBS ratings.
