It was one year ago at this time when President Biden visited Iowa at an ethanol plant to announce E-15 blended ethanol would be allowed to be used in several Midwest states for the upcoming summer months.  Now, one year later, ethanol industry officials and elected officials are again urging the Environmental Protection Agency to approve E-15 for this summer.  The EPA has responded saying their isn’t enough time this year for suppliers of ethanol to be able to meet the changes.  U-S Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa says he has written a letter to President Biden asking the question if there was sufficient time a year ago for ethanol suppliers, why isn’t there enough time this year?

Grassley says he isn’t sure if he will get a response from the White House relating to the E-15 issue.
