The Inflation Reduction Act that was narrowly passed last week by the U-S Senate on a party line vote will hurt agriculture, according to Iowa Republican Senator, Chuck Grassley.  Grassley says the bill should actually be referred to as the “Inflation Enhancement Act.”  Grassley says the Democrats want you to believe that additional taxes will be levied on corporations.  But the Iowa Republican senator says corporations are nothing more than a piece of paper.  The real victims, according to Grassley, are the people that comprise of a corporation.  Grassley asks the question, of how the Inflation Reduction Act will help farmers?  He says the passed bill will make it more costly for farmers.
