U-S Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa has introduced a bill entitled the “Next Generation Fuels Act” which is designed to entice automakers to modify motor engines to accept higher blends of ethanol within the next few years.  Grassley says higher octane fuels help vehicles perform better.  Grassley says higher blends of ethanol achieves the goal of higher octane with cleaner emissions.  The National Corn Growers Association is in support of the bill introduced by Senator Grassley.
