The United States was recently invited by Japan to join the Trans Pacific Partnership trade agreement.  During the Trump administration, the United States had dropped out of participating in the multiple nation trade compact.  U-S Senator Chuck Grassley addressed the issue during his weekly news conference with agriculture media, saying the U-S should again join the trade pact.

Grassley says he doubts whether the Biden administration wants to enter any free trade agreements.

Grassley says the United States would greatly benefit by being a member of the TPP, especially with meat exports.  He says he is upset with the current situation.
