Grassley Comments On E-15 Decision

Grassley Comments On E-15 Decision

Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa says he is pleased to see the Environmental Protection Agency approve the waiver to allow E-15 blended ethanol fuel to be used during the upcoming summer months, and all year round.  Grassley says the EPA waited until the last hour for the approval of the renewable fuel.  The Iowa republican says consumers will be able to save money for fuel by using E-15.

He says with the approval of E-15 ethanol, more fuel retailers will have the incentive to offer it at their pumps, and with the approval, the decision eliminates any uncertainty with the future of E-15.
