Grassley Comments on District Court’s Ruling on WOTUS

Grassley Comments on District Court’s Ruling on WOTUS

A Texas District Court judge recently ruled that only the states of Texas and Idaho will be exempt from the rules imposed by the Biden Administration and E.P.A regarding the Waters of the United States, or WOTUS.  Many farm organizations, who say the regulations on WOTUS go too far, were wanting the rules and the implementation be stopped until the U-S Supreme Court makes its ruling on the issue.  The actions of the district judge are disappointing to many, including U-S Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa.

Grassley says he is hoping the Supreme Court decision will favor agriculture and reverse the measures from both the Biden and Obama administrations.

Grassley was asked by news reporters during his news conference if it may be too late to reverse the EPA’s actions.
