Congress has been holding hearings on the new farm bill, and on Tuesday U-S Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa told reporters during his weekly news conference what are his farm bill priorities.

Grassley says he will continue to bring to Washington Iowa’s comments on the farm bill following his traditional 99-county tour across the state.  Grassley says the continuation of the crop insurance program tops his list of priorities for the farm bill.

Grassley says he has met with farmers, farm groups and nutritionists to help set up his farm bill priorities.
