Grants Available to Help Nebraska Businesses & Workers

Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts says the state will use part of the federal funding they got to help businesses and workers get the economy going again.

The state is getting a total of just under eight billion dollars.

State Economic Development Director Tony Goins says the first grant program is for small businesses…

Goins says the applications are now open…

Goins says another grant will help community colleges retrain workers…

The grants will also be used for leadership training and to continue the expansion of broadband internet services.
