The U.S. Department of Agriculture is now accepting applications for up to $100 million in grants for biofuels infrastructure. Nebraska Ethanol Board Administrator, Todd Sneller says the USDA is moving forward with a program that will help the industry grow and meet consumer’s needs.
USDA will award competitive grants, matched by states, to expand the infrastructure for distribution of higher blends of renewable fuels. Sneller says several Nebraska agencies are already responding.
USDA’s new investment seeks to double the number of fuel pumps capable of supplying higher blends of renewable fuels to consumers.
