The quarterfinals of the 2019 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Postseason Women’s Soccer Tournament is complete with Briar Cliff, the five seed, scoring the only upset of the opening round defeating Dordt 3-2.

The top seed in the tournament and regular season champion, Midland, blanked the eight seed Morningside Mustangs by a score of 3-0. The Warriors will take on fifth seed Briar Cliff.

Hastings, the two seed, downed seventh seed Northwestern 5-1 and will host the University of Jamestown. The Jimmies, the three seed, advance by way of a 4-0 shutout of six seed Concordia.

Thursday’s winners will meet in the semifinals on Tuesday, November 12, with the GPAC Championship Match on Friday, November 15 at the highest remaining seed.
