The semifinals of the 2019 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Postseason Women’s Soccer Tournament are complete with the top two seeds advancing to the championship match on Friday.

The top seed in the tournament and regular season champion, 14th-ranked Midland, posted a shutout for the second straight game, downing the five seed Briar Cliff by a score of 2-0. Nayeli Rodriguez and Elena “PT” Perez each scored a goal for the Warriors in the win. Rachel Tigpen had a pair of saves for Midland.

Hastings, the two seed and 16th-ranked team in the NAIA, moved on with a 2-0 victory of their own over the University of Jamestown. Abby Morillon and Courtney Doeschot handled the scoring for the Broncos.

The Warriors and the Broncos will meet in the GPAC Championship Match on Friday, November 15 in Fremont, Nebraska at 7 p.m.
