Three of the six GPAC teams at the NAIA national women’s basketball tournament in Sioux City played opening round games Wednesday with only one moving on with a victory.

The Concordia University women’s basketball team took care of business on Wednesday, sending Wilberforce back home to Ohio with a convincing 100-62 victory. With the victory, Concordia will take on the Cardinal Stritch Wolves on Friday at noon CST.

Dordt lost To Indiana Northwest 86-72 and Morningside was eliminated by Antelope Valley 100-93.

Dakota Wesleyan, Northwestern and Hastings will be in action Thursday.
