Both Great Plains Athletic Conference women’s basketball teams in action Wednesday produced wins at the national NAIA tourney in Sioux City.

The Bulldogs of Concordia (Neb.) continued their dominance of the regular season against Stillman (Ala.). Their halftime lead of 26 dwindled down to 23 by the end of the game, but the Bulldogs showed why they are a No. 1 seed, finishing the game with a score of 75-52.

The Dakota Wesleyan University women’s basketball team received help from its bench as they outscored Indiana University-East 28-6 in bench points and defeated IU-East, 78-62.

Three more GPAC squads(Northwestern, Hastings and Morningside) will be in actin Thursday.
