Four of the five Great Plains Athletic Conference squads at the NAIA National Volleyball Championships in Sioux City have advanced to the round of 16.

Only host school Morningside was eliminated after three rounds of pool play. Morningside College dropped their final NAIA National Championship Pool Play match on Thursday night 3-1 to Corban (OR).  The game scores were 27-29, 25-22, 25-15, 25-17.

Moving into the round of 16 and single elimination play were Dordt, Hastings, Midland and Doane.

8th ranked Dordt College overcame a set one loss and won a 3-1 decision over Grand View (IA) in their final NAIA National Championship Pool Play match on Thursday evening.  Game scores were 18-25, 25-23, 25-12, 25-14.
