The NAIA women’s national basketball championship comes down to two teams from the Great Plains Athletic Conference after wins by Concordia and Dakota Wesleyan on Monday in Sioux City.
The Concordia (Neb.) Bulldogs have taken down the Northwestern (Iowa) Red Raiders to advance to the title game Tuesday night. The Bulldogs defeated Northwestern 84-77.
Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) advances to just its second National Championship in school history by defeating Saint Xavier (Ill.) 81-66. Kynedi Cheeseman had a dominant night, dropping game-highs in points (27) and assists (5).
The championship game tips off at 7:05 Tuesday night.
