Golfing honors for the week have been announced by the Great Plains Athletic Conference.

Women- Lauren Fitts – Dakota Wesleyan University

Lauren Fitts of Dakota Wesleyan is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Golfer-of the-Week. Fitts, a senior from Brookings, South Dakota, took the individual title at GPAC Women’s Golf Qualifier  #1. She led the field with a 75 on the day as the next closest finisher was seven shots back.
Men –Renen Sahr, Midland University

Renen Sahr of Midland is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week. Sahr, a senior from Gordon, Nebraska, played twice at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course. He shot 72 for a third place finish during the Doane Invite before shooting an even par (70) at the course during GPAC #2. Both events, he helped lead the Warriors to second-place team finishes. At GPAC #2 he helped Midland pull into third place in the conference standings after two qualifying events by knocking down 13 pars and three birdies, leading the field in par 4 scoring.
