Northwestern’s Hans Epp is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week. Epp, a sophomore from Giltner, Nebraska, helped lead the Red Raiders to the team championship at the Herb Blakely Invite, a meet hosted by Dakota State in Madison, S.D. Epp was the top Northwestern runner, placing second with an 8K time of 26:36. It marked the best collegiate finish for Epp. Northwestern, ranked 16th in the NAIA, will next compete in the Roy Griak Invite on Sept. 26 in the Twin Cities.
