The 2017 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Postseason Women’s Soccer Tournament continued on Tuesday with a pair of semifinal matches.

Each of the top seeds advanced and will face off in the finals on Friday, November 10, in Seward, Nebraska.

Top seed Concordia, who finished the regular season with a 9-0-1 GPAC record, picked up a 2-1 win over the fifth seed Northwestern Red Raiders. The Bulldogs’ Tori Cera scored what proved to be the game winner off a free kick from Jeannelle Condame in the second half. This is the fourth consecutive year Concordia has reached the title game.

On the other side of the bracket second seed Hastings College and third seed Midland University played to a 0-0 tie. Hastings advanced to the title game 3-1 in the shootout. This will be the Broncos first trip to the title game since the 2014 season.

The Bulldogs and Broncos will play in the GPAC Championship Match on Friday at 7 pm in Seward, Nebraska. During the regular season Concordia picked up a 1-0 win over Hastings.
