The 2016 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships are returning to the Bob Devaney Sports Center on the campus of the University of Nebraska.

This years event will be held in Lincoln, Nebraska, on February 20, starting at 1pm.  The GPAC Indoor Track and Field Championships were hosted by UNL for seven years from 2007 to 2013, but have been at GPAC campus sites the last two years.

Doane hosted the event in 2014 and Concordia was the host in 2015.

The multi-events will be held at Doane College and Fuhrer Fieldhouse on Friday, February 19 starting at 1pm and will conclude on the morning of Saturday, February 20, starting at 9am.  The mult-events will be completed before the start of the championship events at UNL.

“We are thrilled to be returning to Nebraska for our GPAC Indoor Championships,” stated GPAC Commissioner Corey Westra.  “The caliber of facility at Devaney is second to none with the banked track and ample seating to host our great fans of GPAC Indoor Track and Field, it’s a great opportunity for our league and we are honored to be guests of the University of Nebraska.”

Doane College is the defening women’s and men’s champions in the GPAC.
