The Great Plains Athletic Conference has released the results of polls for this season’s softball and baseball races.

Morningside totaled 72 points and is the preseason coaches’ selection to win the 2018 GPAC Softball Championship. The Mustangs tallied seven first place votes. Concordia was picked to finish second with 68 points. Hastings (2), Dordt and Midland all received first place votes

Concordia totaled 80 points and is the preseason coaches’ selection to win the 2018 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Baseball Championship. The Bulldogs tallied eight first place votes. Midland, tabbed second with 74 points, had two first place votes.
