The Great Plains Athletic Conference has named its basketball Players of the Week.

Women – Rachel Evavold, Dordt University (Forward)

Evavold, a senior from Bloomington, Minnesota, had 15 points, six rebounds and 3.5 assists for the Defenders while converting over 65 percent of her field goals in a pair of wins.

Men – Mason Hiemstra, Hastings College (Guard)

Hiemstra, a freshman from Alliance, Nebraska, averaged 22.5 points per game, including a career high 24 points in the upset win over No. 10 Dakota Wesleyan.
