The Great Plains Athletic Conference has announced its basketball Players of the Week.

Women – Miranda Paul, Midland University (Guard)

Midland guard Miranda Paul is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women’s basketball player-of-the-week.  Paul, a senior from Lincoln, Nebraska scored a season-high 17 points as Midland knocked off its second straight Top 25 opponent. She went 5-of-7 from downtown while adding a pair of rebounds and an assist in the Warriors’ 77-73 road victory over #12 Morningside.

 

Men – Jason Spicer, Dakota Wesleyan University (Forward)

Dakota Wesleyan forward Jason Spicer is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men’s basketball player-of-the-week.  Spicer, a junior from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, just missed a triple double as he tallied a career-high 30 points, along with 10 assists and eight rebounds. Spicer has scored at least 20 points in nine different games this season. He ranks No. 9 in the NAIA in field goal percentage (64%), and No. 12 in total scoring (307 points). At the conference level, Spicer sits at No. 2 in total scoring per game.
